Draft Local Design Review Scheme
On 11 August 2020, the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA SA) and the Urban Future Exchange (previously known as the Australian Institute of Urban Studies SA) hosted a joint webinar on the draft Local Design Review Scheme for South Australia. Senior ODASA representatives Brad McCormack and Sonya Carthy presented.
The webinar was held during the consultation period and supported individuals and organsiations make submissions on the draft scheme.
The draft Scheme forms part of the State’s planning reform and sets out the procedural requirements for councils who wish to provide Local Design Review within their communities, as well as independent Design Review providers.
The Urban Future Exchange (previously known as the Australian Institute of Urban Studies SA) would also like to thank ODASA for providing a briefing to AIUS SA’s and PIA SA’s members during the consultation period.
